Abstract
Quilt display in the south light court of the Colorado State Capitol, Denver. One of two magnificent three-story spaces in the interior of this 1908 building, the court was being used on this occasion to exhibit 200 quilts to showcase the art of quilting and its expression of Colorado's heritage. Public spaces such as this are frequently used around the nation to display art of all kinds, from the bands of both masters and schoolchildren. Photograph and commentary courtesy of Charles T.
