Abstract
We, the authors, Editors and Publishers of Corrosion Engineering, Science and Technology are retracting the following article:

We are now cognizant that the data upon which the article was based has been potentially fabricated and thus, as the authors can no longer verify the veracity of the results and findings, they wish to retract the paper from the scholarly record.
The authors note the breach of warranties made with respect to originality and provenance of the data used within the article, and of our policy on publishing ethics and integrity. We note that we received, peer-reviewed, accepted, and published the article in good faith based on these warranties, and censure this action.
