This journal has published two articles by Geeslin that criticize HEW's Targeted R&D Program on Reading. The first was answered by Geyer. Geeslin's second article was based entirely upon a critique of a monograph he mistakenly assumed to be a cornerstone in TRDPR; actually the monograph had only the remotest connection with the program. Geeslin made other mistakes of equal magnitude in the critique.
