Abstract
We present a first scattering experiment with MIEZE, a new high-resolution neutron spectrometer, located in the guide hall of the Laboratoire Léon Brillouin. As a variant of neutron spinecho it measures the intermediate scattering function. In opposition to spinecho it is able to measure spin-incoherent scattering without attenuation of the signal. This was demonstrated on the first sample, viscous glycerol at two different temperatures.
