Abstract
We have equipped the thermal neutron beam station F2 of the Garching research reactor FRM with a supermirror coated neutron beam bender. The bender is followed by a 4.2 m long supermirror coated neutron guide. This provides a high intensity, low background thermal neutron beam at about 9 m distance from the reactor core. First results on a neutron beam concentrator, constructed on the basis of stacked supermirror plates of varying lengths, are also reported.
