Abstract
The third-generation neutron facilities under construction at Tokai (JSNS) and at Oak Ridge (SNS) will provide opportunities for strengthening and expanding research on biomolecular dynamics. Following an outline of current trends in biomolecular applications of quasielastic (QENS) and inelastic (INS) neutron scattering, this paper discusses likely directions of future work on proteins and identifies challenging problem areas.
