Abstract
This article is a short review of the results of single crystal neutron diffraction studies on proteins, and is meant to serve two purposes: firstly, as a brief update of new results which appeared since our last review in 2002, [Tsyba, I. and Bau, R. (2002) “Neutron Diffraction Studies on Proteins”, Chemtracts 15, 233] and secondly to focus on one particular area: cases in which neutron diffraction studies have helped in the understanding of the catalytic activity of enzymes.
