Abstract
Nineteen distinguished Belgrade intellectuals sent Stane Dolanc, the State Secretary for Internal Affairs, the following demand for an inquiry into the death of Radomir Radović. He was one of the 28 people detained in Belgrade on 20 April when Milovan Djilas addressed a private discussion group.
Among the signatories are Dobrica Ĉosić, the writer, and Mica Popović, the painter, nine academics (three of them Praxis group members), and Lt.-General Gojko Nikoliŝ, a Spanish Civil War veteran awarded the title ‘People's Hero’.
We are grateful to The South Slav Journal in London for the translation.
To Stane Dolanc, Federal Secretary for Internal Affairs, Belgrade
