Abstract
The dramatised documentary Death of a Princess, first shown on British television on 9 April, caused a political and diplomatic storm, with Saudi Arabian protests leading to the expulsion of the British Ambassador from Jeddah and to strenuous efforts by official and business representatives to prevent the film being screened in a number of other countries.
In this interview with John Bonus, a writer on Middle East affairs, Anthony Thomas Princess and rebuts Saudi charges that his film was ‘anti-Islamic’.
