Abstract
The author is one of the most highly respected of Polish writers and poets. Much of his work has not satisfied the requirements of the censors and has thus found its way into Zapis. The text below is taken from Literatura, a novel Woroszylski wrote in 1966–70, excerpts from which appeared under the same title in Zapis 1 in 1977.
