Abstract
To address the problem of strip running deviation in continuous annealing process (CAP), the paper analysed the mechanism of strip running deviation from the point of stress state of strip on the tapered part under the rotation state of furnace roller, established a mechanical model of strip deviation, and the concept of deviation index representing the trend of strip deviation was put forward, the calculation scheme of strip deviation was introduced. Then, the theoretical model was verified by finite element software (MSC.Marc), the results show that the calculated results of two methods are basically the same, and the error between theoretical calculation and finite element simulation is less than 15%. Field application show that the attenuation model fully satisfies the precision requirements of engineering application, greatly improving production efficiency and effectively reducing the maintenance costs of the equipment.
