Abstract
The reasonable setting of the reduction rule is the key to section steel straightening. In order to formulate a better reduction rule, the multi-objective optimisation model of multi-roller straightening was established on the basis of the analytic model of multi-roller straightening taking H-beam as an example. By setting adjustable end roller and reducing the reduction of the first adjustable roller, the exit residual deflection and the max plastic region ratio can be reduced. Through Matlab programming, the new reduction rule that meets the optimisation goals will be automatically predicted based on the initial reduction rule, and the deformations and forces under the new reduction rule will be accurately calculated. The multi-objective optimisation improves the flatness and reduces the residual stress after straightening at the same time. Through field experiments, the correctness of the multi-objective optimisation model of multi-roller straightening was verified.
