Abstract
This study presents an accelerated life prediction of the special fluoro rubber under various ageing temperatures. It was predicted by evaluating the changes in physical properties under accelerated ageing time at 150°C, 175°C, and 200°C and the corresponding change in physical properties at 80°C. The present study shows the activation energy of 29,730 kcal mol−1 and the reaction constant of 23.673 from tensile strength and 12,227 kcal mol−1 and 6.044 from elongation. Comparing the predicted weight and volume change rate from tensile strength and those from elongation, respectively at 80°C, the predicted ones of tensile strength tended to be more alike the actual results.
