Abstract
Effects of Cr on the stacking-fault energy (SFE) and damping capacity were investigated by experimental and theoretical methods. The effect of Cr on SFE was thermodynamically calculated; the damping capacity, phase composition, microstructure and corrosion resistance were experimentally measured.
