Abstract
This monograph presents 10 theoretical articles on the ways that social psychology can — potentially — help cope with the COVID-19 pandemic. Specifically, the articles discuss: (a) how different theoretical models can be used to better understand the pandemic, its consequences and how to cope with them; (b) the importance of considering variables like social class or gender when examining the causes and consequences of the pandemic; (c) the challenges and research questions that could be addressed from any of the spheres of application of social psychology, such as environmental psychology, organizational psychology and community social psychology.
