There is paucity of definitive data to guide rational psychotropic drug treatment in the management of Borderline Personality Disorder. This is a retrospective naturalistic case study which looks at the pattern of Psychotropic drug use in the treatment of patients with Borderline Personality Disorder.
Objective: This is a pilot study to look at the pattern of Psychotropic drug use in the natural course of treatment of patients with Borderline Personality Disorder in an inpatient Psychiatric facility.
Methodology: Retrospective case study. 40 patients with a clinical diagnosis Borderline Personality Disorder admitted to an inpatient Psychiatric facility formed the sample of the study. The pattern of Psychotropic drug use in the natural course of treatment of patients would be presented.
