Abstract
The Turkish pharmaceutical market is one of the fastest growing markets around the world. Health policies and social security coverage has changed significantly during the past years, paving the way for a solid growth in the pharmaceutical market. Legislation regulating the industry is in line with European Union norms and regulations. The outlook is promising but as in other countries, public authorities are continuously trying to suppress prices of medicines. Thus, there are serious challenges ahead.
