Neurogenic tumors of the larynx are rare. Holinger and Johnston 1 reported a single case in their review of 1197 benign tumors of the larynx, and Jones et al 2 reported 4 neurogenic tumors in a series including 270 benign tumors of the larynx between 1955 and 1982; Stanley et al 3 identified 15 neurogenic tumors of the larynx in the files of the Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN, between 1907 and 1986.
