Abstract
So masterful was the organisation of the New South Wales Branch opening that even the weather was on cue! In brilliant sunshine, approximately 65 College Fellows and staff assembled at the Branch Office in Rozelle for the official opening of the building purchased by the College in 1997. In her last ceremonial duty as President, Dr Janice Wilson unveiled the brass plaques that will now identify the building as ‘Maddison House’ in honour of Professor David Maddison, eminent Fellow of the College and the first Censor-in-Chief.
