The following article contained an error:
Bennett BL, Holcomb JB. Battlefield trauma-induced hypothermia: transitioning the preferred method of casualty rewarming. Wilderness Environ Med. 2017. 28(2S):S82–S89.
An incorrect environmental chamber temperature was attributed to the study by Allen et al (reference 44. Allen PB, Salyer SW, Dubick MA, Holcomb JB, Blackbourne LH. Preventing hypothermia: comparison of current devices used by the US Army in an in vitro warmed fluid model. J Trauma. 2010;69:S154–S161.)
On page S85 in the section Hypothermia Rewarming Research and Development, final paragraph, fifth line, the authors incorrectly stated that the environmental chamber temperature was maintained at 37.8°C (100°F). The cited paper actually stated that the chamber temperature was maintained between 22.3 and 22.7°C.
