Abstract
This article presents a commentary on the importance of hospital board member and staff relations as they relate to ethical decision making for boards. Using a case study format, the author presents a series of reasonable ideas and expectations for healthcare organizations and a relative dialogue regarding the engagement of key stakeholders and tools used in the decision making process for boards.
