Neurofibromas of the larynx occur sporadically or in association with von Recklinghausen's disease. The first reported case of isolated endolaryngeal neurofibroma in 1925

has been followed by occasional reports.

The aryepiglottic folds are the usual sites of occurrence, and the tumor frequently obscures the endolarynx. Following is a case of solitary neurofibroma of the larynx; preoperative diagnosis was difficult to make, and the tumor was treated surgically.
