We will describe the advantages offered by tele-thermographic test of glomus tumour localized in the hand. Such advantages are the simplicity and absolute safety of the test and the possibility of obtaining useful information on the site and size of the neoplasm, permitting a correct diagnosis even if the characteristic signs are lacking. The test, moreover, can be carried out on an out-patient basis.
We will present some of the cases in which dynamic thermography permitted us to confirm the clinical diagnosis of glomus tumour.
