The Anatomy of the Incision for Carpal Tunnel Decompression

Abstract

The coarse fibrous pattern of the roots of the palmar aponeurosis and of the flexor retinaculum, comprising the roof of the carpal tunnel, is described, to define the structures incised in the operation to relieve carpal tunnel compression syndrome.
