Cystic Tuberculosis of a Metacarpal

Abstract

A white woman of thirty-two years presented with tuberculous osteitis of the third metacarpal head, secondary to previously undetected active pulmonary disease. The problems of diagnosis are illustrated by review of her history, and the literature is discussed.
