Fifty-six cases of anterior interosseous nerve paralysis including our thirteen cases were collected by reviewing the Japanese literature. The causes of the paralysis were similar to those in the cases reported in other countries. Paralysis is often only partial, and this is of importance in the differential diagnosis.
